rio lane is A flash of lightning in a cold dark night. bluntly through her teeth she laughs and winks, LEAPING to the next reverie. juices SIMMERING behind her tongue. devotion and escape swirl through colored fancy. demons clutch their pearls when her name is mentioned. she's been there. dancING over broken spirit and twisted nail. never a corner to claim. not quite the right fit ever still primed for the cut in the crucible. in and out of the arena, girl vs man. everyone wants a piece until there is nothing left to give.edging at the brink, she loosens the last claw from her back. a fever dream rushes over her and the crowd she faces starts to MOVE like the river. chest filled chants drip with classic warmth and a scent of another time. sweet lime electric  melodies and some salt of the earth delight. a city slicking sermon on a SUNNY drive TO A NEARBY town. a Caberet of stereo. AUDIO VIDEO DISCO cherry  al fresco and a smirk that breaks the ice.
